In Loving Memory of Dr. John MacArthur
A Faithful Servant Has Finished His Race
Dr. John MacArthur has gone home to be with the Lord. He served so faithfully. A pillar of truth in our generation, he devoted his life to preaching the uncompromised Word of God. Through his bold teaching, unwavering faith, and shepherd’s heart, countless souls were equipped, edified, and drawn closer to Christ.
He was more than a pastor—he was a guardian of sound doctrine, a great mentor to many, and a man of rare conviction. In a time when many wavered, he stood firm. In a world desperate for truth, he opened the Scriptures with clarity and courage.
Though he is no longer with us, his voice echoes through his sermons, his writings, and the lives he touched. His legacy is not found in fame, but in faithfulness, not in applause, but in obedience to Christ. He has fought the good fight. He has finished the race. He has kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7).
May God comfort his family and friends with His peace and strength. Our prayers are with them during this time of sorrow.
He was one of the few pastors I have deeply admired for his boldness, courage, and unwavering faith in Christ. True men of God who stand boldly for the truth are rare in this world—and when we are blessed to witness one, whether in the past or present, he is to be honored with gratitude and reverence—not in worship, but in deep respect for a life lived faithfully to God.

A Personal Reflection
I am not speaking as a fan or follower of a personality—I am speaking as a believer moved by the beauty of integrity in ministry.
My greatest joy is witnessing a human being who has served the Lord truthfully—and after their passing, no controversy followed them. In today’s world, that is rare. For me, this is the first time I have personally witnessed such a faithful servant of God.
I have heard stories of other faithful men and women of God who have passed away, but I never had the chance to witness one with my own eyes—until now. And what a joy it is. This is what it means to serve God truthfully and wholeheartedly.
For those of us still running this race, may we be encouraged to follow this same path—the path of walking truthfully with Christ, no matter what comes our way. May the peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all who have chosen to follow Him in truth.
