For him and her
WORDS FROM CHARLENE
Welcome to a space where I share personal reflections, insights, and inspiration from my journey in faith, love, and life. Join me as we reflect, grow, and inspire each other. Living as a godly person is challenging; it requires more than just abandoning a worldly lifestyle. It demands inner transformation, patience, and discipline to resist the pull of old habits and desires.
I believe that choosing to live as a godly individual is a personal and voluntary commitment rooted in each person’s unique relationship with God. God invites us to follow Him, but He does not force obedience. If we truly understand who the Lord is to us, following His path should feel natural, not compelled.
As I write, I do not claim to be perfect, but I strive to live up to everything I share to the best of my ability. I rely on God’s strength to guide me as I seek to embody what I teach as a disciple of Christ.
Spiritual growth is a continuous, humble journey, and I recognize that I am still learning. Life may be shorter than we imagine, but there’s always time to choose the right path and live as God calls us to, faithfully aligning with His purpose for us.
Since I was young, turning to God’s words brought me comfort in tough times. Following my graduation, writing became my way to stay inspired and share that inspiration with others. Writing has not been easy, especially since English is my second language. It has been a difficult journey, but it fuels my soul and aligns with my God-given mission.
My purpose in this world is not centered on entertainment but on fulfilling God’s intended work. It involves sharing the songs placed in my heart and the encouragement found in ‘The CLK Quotes and Articles.’ My mission is to minister to those whom the Lord has prepared to be touched by the gifts He has instilled within me.
Do I know the specific individuals God has readied to be impacted by my gifts? No, I do not. I do not possess knowledge of the specific individuals whom God has destined to be influenced by my gifts. My primary focus is to follow His guidance, making sure I neither overstep nor fall short of fulfilling His purpose.
What I have learned in moments of challenge is that it is okay to face trials. They can bring us closer to God, leading to complete independence and satisfaction in Him alone. Even though some of my loved ones have not embraced Christ, I persist in what I am called to do—inspire people. At the same time, I trust God to handle the rest, as only He knows when they will choose to follow Jesus.
Remember, acknowledging our imperfections is part of growth. Honest confession gives assurance of forgiveness and cleansing, as 1 John 1:8-10 says.
So, if you have not yet accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, I encourage you to discover the deep love, guidance, and purpose He offers to all who seek Him.
Confession and repentance are not burdens but blessings, paving the way for growth and divine alignment. Accountability in faith deepens our relationship with God and fellow believers. -CLK
When you confess your mistakes (sins) and repent for them, it is not something to feel burdened by. Instead, it is a blessing because it allows you to grow spiritually and become more aligned with divine principles. Being accountable for your actions in your faith strengthens your connection with God and with other believers. Therefore, it is not about feeling guilty, but rather about finding opportunities for growth and deepening your relationship with your faith community and God.
Writing from the Heart: Understanding My Writing Approach
The experiences I have faced in life inspire my writing. As a follower of Christ, I strive to keep my words genuine, uplifting, and respectful. Non-fiction often reflects a reality that can be difficult to digest. For some, understanding comes quickly; for others, it may take time. However, the intent here is to share observations that can resonate with all of us in different ways.
Let me clarify this:
Whenever someone says that life’s experiences are not biblical truth, they are technically right in one sense—only Scripture is the Word of God. Nevertheless, here’s what they may be missing: God often uses life experiences to reveal His truth, affirm His Word, and draw hearts closer to Him.
No, life’s experiences are not Scripture. However, many in the Bible shared theirs—because when life aligns with God’s Word, it becomes a testimony of truth.
“The Bible is the truth. My experiences are only meaningful when they align with it.”
—Charlene L. Kazay • The CLK Quotes
What Are My Experiences Then?
My experiences are my personal encounters, observations, and reflections as I walk through life, moments shaped by joy, pain, growth, faith, and everyday choices.
They are:
🔹 Real-life moments lived under God’s guidance
They include what I’ve learned from blessings, trials, mistakes, and breakthroughs—moments where I saw God’s hand or grew deeper in faith.
🔹 Testimonies of God’s faithfulness
While not Scripture, my experiences can reflect biblical truths. Just like David’s psalms or Paul’s letters, my words can echo what God has done in my life to inspire others.
🔹 Expressions Shaped by God’s Word
I’m not speaking as someone who holds the final say or absolute truth. My experiences don’t replace Scripture—they reflect how God’s truth has shaped my journey.
🔹 Tools of encouragement and correction
When shared humbly, my life experiences carry more than stories—they carry lessons. They can challenge the heart, confront distractions, and encourage real spiritual growth. Whether it’s a message about breaking free from materialism or healing the heart through love and forgiveness, I share not to impose, but to invite others to see how God’s truth transforms lives.
“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story…” —Psalm 107:2 (NIV)
Our testimonies, shaped by God’s Word, are not the source of truth, but they can indeed reflect it.
Many people today base their beliefs solely on feelings or personal experiences, and that can be dangerous.
For example, someone might say, “God doesn’t love me” because they’re going through suffering.
On the other hand, “It’s okay to do this” because they’ve never felt convicted about it. But those statements are shaped by emotions, not by truth. They are based on personal interpretation, not on God’s Word.
That’s why I’m making it clear: I don’t fall into that trap. My faith is rooted in Scripture, not feelings. The Word of God is the root; my testimony is the fruit. My experiences are shaped by it, submitted to it, and meant to reflect it. I’m not placing my experience on the same level as the Bible, but through my experience, I’ve seen God’s Word come alive.
So, if you write, teach, or speak from a place of faith, don’t be discouraged when people say, “That’s just your experience.” Instead, ask yourself: Does this experience glorify God and align with His Word?
If the answer is yes, then keep going. Keep writing. Keep testifying. Because the Bible alone is truth, but life, surrendered to Christ, helps reveal that truth in a way the world can see, understand, and believe.
If something I shared provoked discomfort, I encourage prayerful reflection rather than personal offense. Sometimes conviction feels like discomfort, but that doesn’t mean it’s unbiblical. My only desire is to encourage growth, not condemnation.
With that being said, my writing focuses on faith and love-based topics, often integrating personal experience and spiritual reflection. I address deeper spiritual issues, such as discipleship, materialism, and rejection, while living by God’s principles, focusing on self-examination and alignment with God’s teachings.
My style is direct and thought-provoking, blending practical wisdom with scriptural references. My approach is nonfiction, rooted in biblical teachings, personal growth, and spiritual guidance. It emphasizes real-world applications of faith to encourage readers to examine their lives in light of biblical principles.
Ultimately, my goal is to inspire transformation—helping readers grow closer to God, live purposefully, and navigate life’s challenges with faith, love, and grace. I aim to encourage a deeper, more authentic walk with Christ through thoughtful reflection and practical application.
Everything you encounter on this platform is dedicated to sharing and spreading God’s authentic word. I hope that the songs, quotes, and articles shared here, as well as on any other platforms, will serve as inspiration. Welcome to my blog; I am sincerely delighted that you are here!
